October 14-17 I was fortunate to spend in Cancun with over 500 travel advisors and suppliers to lear learn about what is happening with Apple Leisure Group. I was in the tower at the RIU Palace Peninsula. All rooms have a balcony with an ocean view. This was the view from my room. It came with a stocked Fridge. My room was considered a Junior Suite. The resort was all inclusive with several restaurants. I ate breakfast and one lunch at the buffet. I had one dinner at the resort, at Krystal where I had the lobster tail. Part of the beach was rocky. However, there is a part that is all sand. For those that do not want the beach, the resort has 5 pools. There is also an adults only section for accommodations and an adults only pool. They also have a theater for shows. One is also close to shopping. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the Cancun International Airport. I participated in several workshops and attended the supplier trade show. I got to meet some reps from various resort companies. Besides sending clients on amazing cruise vacations, I am able to send clients to amazing all inclusive resorts.
